(a) To advance the knowledge of paediatric endocrinology, and to maintain the standard of paediatric practice to promote child health and public education.
(b) To advance the knowledge
and practice of paediatric endocrinology, metabolism, growth and nutrition.
(c) To create an awareness of
the prevalence of endocrine, metabolic, growth and nutritional disorders and to
improve the standard of their diagnosis and treatment.
(d) To encourage, develop or
assist in the development of research and manuscript publications in paediatric
and adolescent endocrinology and related disciplines.
(e) To provide an educational
and consultative role to health professionals who are in the field of
endocrinology, metabolism, growth and nutrition in children and adolescents.
(f) To organize public
educative activities with regard to endocrinology, metabolism, growth and
nutrition in children and adolescents.
(g) To conduct or assist
fundraising activities and accept donations and sponsorships that are in favor
of the field in paediatric and adolescent endocrinology, metabolism and related
disciplines.
(h) To participate in local and
international societies that are in the field of endocrinology, metabolism,
growth and nutrition in children and adolescents.
(i) To organize or assist in
organization of local and international conferences of paediatric and
adolescent endocrinology, metabolism and related disciplines.
(j) To do all such other things as are incidental or
conducive to the attainment of the objects of the Society or all such other
thing or things that the Council may in its sole discretion deem fit or
beneficial to the Society.
